As part of a major refurbishment over 14 floors at 600 St Kilda Road, Lockin was tasked with installing PL2 ‘Wave door’ lockers.. While our parent company ISM Interiors took responsibility for joinery including timber wall paneling, new vanities, and a lift lobby upgrade.
One of the unique customisation features of this project was the need to narrow our standard locker dimensions to maximise the available space without reducing usability. A visually striking feature of the installation was the tricolor scheme, with lockers finished in alternating shades of Laminex Charcoal, Olympia Blue and Seasoned Oak. The locking system was a timed digital code lock, that automatically unlocks each locker after a set period of time.
Along with the locker installation we also provided bench seating adjoining the locker banks, as and in the male and female shower rooms. The benches featured Tasmanian Oak timber slats and a powder-coated steel frame.
