Our fitout for the team at Transport NSW is one of the biggest locker installations Lockin has been involved with.
We were proud to be awarded the project, located at Sydney’s Macquarie Park, from our valued partners at Metra Australia. The exclusive suppliers of the Metra lock system.
The scale of the fitout was huge – 3,952 lockers across six levels of the brand new office complex. The lockers are our H4 model, installed four high in each bank – a configuration that’s perfect for busy office spaces. The lockers are finished in a variety of colours including Laminex Polar White and New Graphite, and Polytec Nataio Walnut, Natural Oak and Oyster Grey – all featuring a custom powder-coated aluminium kicker.
The lockers are accessed via smartcard or phone app at a Metra terminal sited on each bank, mitigating the need for individual locks and creating a super clean look. Locker banks are located in various high traffic areas of each office space, including hallways, islands and built into plaster walls. Our team coordinated with a locally based joiner on the banquette seats that sit between the locker banks.
Clean, sleek and functional – the Transport NSW offices are the epitome of a contemporary working space built for the comfort and efficiency of every team member.
