Gazi is one of Melbourne’s premier Greek restaurants and is part of the Made Establishment’s family that includes The Press Club and Hellenic Republic.

The Gazi space initially had no storage facilities at all, so our task was to design a solution that enabled the Gazi’s team to safely store their belongings and operate efficiently within a bustling, hyperactive hospitality setting.

To rise to the challenge, we installed 40 H4 lockers in a Laminex Charcoal finish. The design and style of the lockers had to integrate seamlessly with Gazi’s aesthetic, as they were located in the front entry way. Our lockers had to be not just functional, but contribute to the overall ambience of the restaurant.  One design element that enhanced this was the addition of brushed aluminium laser cut Greek alphabet lettering atop each locker.

The bank of lockers also included extra overhead storage space, a custom laminate bulkhead and a digital timed keypad locking system. The locking system served a useful function for staff and management, as it removed the need for managing sets of keys as well as allowing for multiple staff to share a locker space across shifts.

We’re proud that Gazi utilised Lockin’s design and construction skills in this fitout. Our lockers have created a stylish and functional facility for this popular restaurant’s hard-working team.
