Rising over 29 levels, 222 Exhibition Street is an impressive office building that boasts direct access to some of Melbourne’s best parks, gymnasiums, and bicycle paths. It’s no wonder as the building owners refurbished and rejuvenated 222, they wanted a world-class end of trip (EOT) facility that would promote a healthy, active and convenient lifestyle for their tenants.
Our client brief was to install custom lockers for both the male and female EOT facilities. The fitout comprised of 384 PS2 hanging lockers, each with a front attached shoe shelf and bench seat. The striking finish on locker panels was achieved with a Tawny Linewood Laminate that was carefully grain matched across the locker doors and end panels. The locking system we used was an Ojmar OCS Code lock, which features a digital touch keypad and can be programmed for dedicated or shared use.
Additional facilities included in the fitout were an airing cupboard and ironing station to care for tenants jogging or biking into work or exercising at lunchtimes. The EOT facilities at 222 also featured a custom ottoman.
We were able to adapt our designs to accommodate changed floor plans during construction.
The striking finish was achieved with a carefully grainmatched linewood laminate.

What does ‘luxe’ look like? A quick look around the stunning end-of-trip facilities at 140 William Street, right in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, is a good place to start.
The fitout included 391 lockers in a charcoal laminate with brass vinyl numbering, ottomans, towel and shoe storage behind mirrored doors and ironing board units.
