This Victorian State Government office in Melbourne CBD is a busy, flexible workspace hosting multiple collaborative projects at any time.
Our fitout involved close planning with architectural firm PTID, to the extent of creating prototype lockers, allowing team members to trial and give feedback on the designs. This prototype process trialed everything from laptops and monitors to workstations, carpets and locker colour tones.
We installed 318 custom H3 lockers across two floors, with various colour shades of Laminex Winter Sky and Bay Leaf, and Polytec Natural Oak selected to delineate office areas. Each locker features a mail chute and ventilation holes, plus vinyl numbering with micro braille signage located beneath each number. The lockers themselves contain a USB charging point and utilise the Gantner Smart Lock, programmed in shared mode for hot-desking use. Coat cupboards were also integrated into the locker banks across the floors.
